Rien de bien nouveau, mais un petit récapitulatif:
Raleigh Beckett: Pilote de Jaeger à la retraite, il est rappelé pour combattre. Il a vécu un terrible drame personnel: la mort de son frère Yancy, qui était son co-pilote, au combat, alors qu'ils étaient connectés. Au début du film, il n'a plus d'estime de soi, ni d'envie de combattre ou de vivre.
Raleigh Beckett: Retired Jaeger pilot, he's called back to fight. He lost his brother Yancy, his former co-pilot, during a Kaiju fight. At the beginning of the movie, he has no self-esteem, and no desire to live.
Mako Mori: Jeune pilote de Jaeger inexpérimentée, elle va faire équipe avec Raleigh, pour piloter un Jaeger obsolète. Elle a vécu une attaque de Kaiju à Tokyo, et ce souvenir la hante. Elle aussi a perdu une grande perte.
GDT dit deux que quand ils se rencontrent, ils sont comme deux pièces "vides", qui se connectent et se complètent. Plus sur Mako (spoilers).
Mako Mori: Young untested pilot, she will be Raleigh's co-pilot, and they will pilot an obsolete Jaeger. She experienced a Kaiju attack in Tokyo when she was eight, and she's haunted by this souvenir.

Stacker Pentecost: Lieutenant comandant, c'est en quelque sorte un mentor pour les pilotes (sensei). Il les entraîne.

Hannibal Chau: Marchand du marché noir Kaiju. C'est un homme ayant des relations haut-placées, qui lui donnent le droit de vendre à de richissimes clients, collectionneur d'objets rares et exotiques, des "morceaux" de Kaijus servant comme "médecine alternative". C'est un homme sans conscience ni scrupules, un homme qui profite de la guerre.
Hannibal Chau: This businessman sales pieces of dead Kaiju at a black market. He has high-rank relations, who allows him to sale these pieces to rich client, who are looking for exotic and rare things, and "alternative medecines". He's a bad guy, without conscience, doing business during the war.
Dr. Newton Geiszler: C'est un scientifique, civil, un "monsieur-tout-le-monde" qui essaie de sauver le monde.

Tendo Choi: Officier de pont principal.
